Hollywood lit up the 2026 Oscars red carpet on March 15 at the Dolby Theatre with celebrities dressed to impress in charming couture.

From classic ball gowns to slinky silver dresses, stars met the moment in style.

Bridal designer Hayley Paige describes McKenna Grace’s look as “modern princess couture.”

“The corseted bodice and sculpted skirt have that beautiful sense of structure, but the color keeps it young and fresh,” she says. “I love the architectural lines in this dress and the way the skirt is almost folded like origami.”

Paige calls Rose Byrne’s black gown with embroidered florals “statuesque.”

“What I love about this gown is the restraint. The silhouette is incredibly disciplined, almost like a classic mermaid from old Hollywood couture,” she says.

Fashion expert Zanna Roberts Rossi shares Byrne’s stylist note: “She said, ‘I feel like I’m walking through a garden.’”

“The soft pink column gown feels romantic and classic, but the bold red off-the-shoulder detail adds a perfect unexpected twist,” stylist Kim Appelt says.

Kirsten Dunst embodied effortless elegance in a tiered black Celine gown.

“It’s a reminder that sometimes the most powerful statement on the red carpet can be simplicity,” Appelt notes.

Emma Stone’s silver gown offered modern glow and class.

“The cut is so simple, but the way it skims the body makes it incredibly elegant,” Appelt adds. Roberts Rossi reveals it took 600 hours of beading.
