  • Brandy has been at the receiving end of his community’s generosity.
  • So she has always wanted to give back — something that she learned from her mom.
  • Recently, she went to a grocery store and paid the groceries for random strangers!

A woman from New Hampshire has been making a random act of kindness to strangers in a grocery store knowing how important it is for people to experience something to smile and be happy about amidst this global health crisis.

During this difficult time of COVID-19 pandemic, many people were severely affected and many take this as an opportunity to help each other, look for one another, and keep each other safe and thriving.

Brandy Bisson is just one of those people who wanted to give back to her community especially after they provided her son, Thomas, an “epic” 7th birthday celebration complete with drive-by parade, and many gifts, even when everyone was in the middle of lockdown.

“On a whim,” the grateful mother of three went to a grocery store with $600 she was ready to spend for total strangers’ groceries!

“With the pandemic and everything and all the election stuff, I just wanted to bring smiles to people’s faces,” she told WMUR-9.

Brandy learned it from her mom that giving is a gift itself. Being able to give back is just as rewarding. It makes the heart full.

“We’ve been on both ends of the spectrum,” she said. “It’s not a good feeling when you don’t know where you’re going to get food for your kids.”

The generous mom’s simple act of kindness was done discreetly but never went unnoticed in the observant eyes of an employee who recorded it and proudly posted it on social media.

Brandy has no plans on stopping just yet. In the air of Thanksgiving, she supplied holiday meals to two families in her community. Next, she wants to continue her random sponsoring of groceries for strangers as much as she can.

She hopes that as her story gets out there, many people would be inspired to give as well. Giving is the ultimate manifestation of love, and love is what we most need in these trying times.
