  • A dog went right inside the vet clinic of Igor Holanda the other day.
  • Apparently, the dog was a stray, looking for some help for his wounded neck.
  • Igor treated him and planned to keep him until he’s fully recovered, hopeful that he will soon find his forever home.

How this pup knew where to get help is never clear, but it’s easy to think that he might have sensed people with a golden heart.

The other day, Igor Holanda, a veterinarian working at his clinic in Brazil, had an unexpected visitor who came inside the clinic. It was a dog, and he arrived with no human parent.

“He walked in very calmly and stopped,” Igor told The Dodo. “At first we didn’t understand. We looked around to see if he had someone with him, but there was no one.”

Igor thought he was lost, but it turns out, the pup was a stray and had a cut on his neck. He was only looking for some help. Fortunately, he went to the right place at the right time.

Igor wholeheartedly welcomed the dog and treated him.

“We brought him into the office, did a general clinical evaluation and subsequently the cleaning of the wound,” the vet said.

The pup was returning Igor’s goodwill and was behaved all throughout the treatment. He was actually an ideal patient.

Igor said that the stray dog needed a more thorough treatment to fully recover, and he committed time and effort to help him.

“I feel privileged to be able to help,” he said. “God guided this animal to my clinic so I could take care of him.”

Igor hopes that the dog’s visit to his clinic would turn out much better than just a healed wound. He is hopeful that the stray pup would no longer be alone wandering off the streets, with some misfortunes, like a cut on the neck, at times.

“His treatment will take a little longer, but it will work,” Igor said. “And God willing, he will also find someone to adopt him and give him the love and affection he deserves.”
