Have you ever experienced a summer so hot you feel like you’re melting? We can all relate, and so do animals!
Some animals, like pets, go to colder areas of the house and lay flat on the tiles. Outdoor animals try to seek shade. Sometimes, they even seem to melt and turn into adorable puddles in the heat!
Check out some animals that look like they’ve become partially liquid:
1. Cats gravitate toward cold surfaces, like bathroom tiles or glass tables, when it’s hot.
2. Cats are also well-known for being so flexible that they seem boneless. We can’t figure out if this one is melting or simply stretching.
3. This long boy is so stretched out that you wouldn’t believe this photo isn’t even Photoshopped.
4. And this kitty completely turned into a fluffy bowl of baked goodness!
5. Dogs may seem like boundless balls of energy, but their jowls are the first to melt when it’s hot.

7. This pup was so tired that his face just fell flat on the side of his bed!
8. And this one may have tried to get into a better position but just collapsed into a deep sleep!

We can certainly relate to how these animals feel when it’s too hot. They could certainly use a cool bath, some air conditioning, or a cold drink.
