Abandoned ‘Stuffed Animal’ Turns Out To Be A Real Puppy Needing To Be Rescued [Video]

• A woman sees an abandoned ‘stuffed animal’ when she picks her son up from sports practice.
• The stuffed animal turned out to be a real white fluffy puppy that ran out to her.
• She brought the puppy home, fed it, gave it a bath and treated for lice and fleas.

Genia Goodin was picking his son from a sports practice when she noticed an abandoned basketball on the court.  As she came closer, there was something white next to it.  It looked like a ‘stuffed animal’.

Upon closer inspection, it really was a tiny white puppy!

Goodin wrote on Instagram, “This puppy seriously looked like a stuffed animal sitting on the road. He is so small and was so scared and cold.”

She did not hesitate to pick the pup and brought it home.  And she’s wondering how someone can dump such a cute puppy!

Goodin wasted no time in giving the pup water and food.  She even gave it a bath and treated its lice and fleas upon her veterinarian’s recommendation.

She also posted photos of the puppy on Facebook to inform whomever is looking for their pup.  But sadly, one commenter said that they saw someone stop and park their vehicle and then left the dog. 

In time, with love and attention, the dog’s skin began to heal under his white coat.  Even his spirit mended, too. Goodin said that the puppy is doing well and in good spirits.

Goodin already has three other dogs and so keeping the pup is still under consideration.  But what she is thankful for is that she was given the opportunity to rescue an abandoned pup, given it love and care, and is now thriving.

You definitely are in good hands, pup!
