  • TikTok has become a showcase of people and animals singing and dancing to Miley Cyrus’ single ‘Flowers’.
  • Among the versions, @kalithecollilab’s interpretation has already racked up 5.4 million views and 765,200 likes.
  • Because of Kali’s perfect interpretation, she is now the winner of Miley Cyrus’ ‘Flowers’ trend.

Miley Cyrus’ new hit song “Flowers” has become everybody’s go-to for cute videos featuring people, cats and dogs.

And @kalithecollielab’s version on TikTok has already been viewed 5.4 million times since it was posted last January 21 and liked 765,200 times!  This certainly makes Kali, the best interpreter of the song!

Kali and the song are a perfect match.

While the lyrics “I can buy myself flowers” are heard, Kali is seen grabbing a branch from a shrub in a yard.

“Write my name in the sand” lyrics has Kali digging in the sand on the beach.

Kali looks at herself in the mirror and is seen on video while the words “talk to myself for hours” is heard.

And as “say things you don’t understand” lyrics plays, Kali howls while she sits on the sofa.

Kali’s version is so in sync with the lyrics that TikTok user Lucika declared: “The winner of this trend” which Berri agreed: “By far the best use of this sound. What a cutie.” Rnm818 added: “The best TikTok to this song, hands down.”

Svetlana cannot help but comment: “The animal videos are way better then the human ones.”

The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) said that content involving dogs does well on TikTok because the majority of the American population or  38.4 percent of U.S. households have at least one dog from data in 2018.

According to the AVMA, more than 48.2 million dogs are owned as pets and a household has an average 1.6 dogs.

And Labrador-collie crosses like Kali are “intelligent and friendly to a fault”, making them good actors and interpreters of songs like “Flowers”.

On January 19, Spotify announced that in its history, the single was the most-streamed song in a single week.

Congratulations, Kali!
