Artisan Filmmakers Deliver Joyful Short Films That Could Capture Oscar Gold

Quick Smiles:

• Positive documentary shorts celebrating the best of humanity are heading to awards season
• Good News Network teams up with Switchboard Magazine to showcase uplifting stories
• Seasoned artisan filmmakers bring heartwarming tales already honored at film festivals

Good News Network and Switchboard Magazine have joined forces on JoyDrops, a curated slate of awards-season documentary short films that offer positive perspectives, made by artisan filmmakers that have already racked up numerous accolades and awards on the film festival circuit.

The idea started, of course, with a desire to spread more good news in a world that often feels overwhelmed by negativity.

Each short film in the JoyDrops collection has been carefully selected for its ability to inspire, uplift, and remind viewers of the kindness, resilience, and beauty that still thrive in everyday life.

From heartwarming stories of community and connection to profiles of everyday heroes making a difference, these films deliver the kind of pure joy and hope that audiences are craving.
