Christian artists from around the country are celebrating big news after the InspireMore 2025 Christian Song Contest announced its category winners. Judges selected standout songs that blend beautiful melodies with messages of hope, faith, and love.

From country twang to hip-hop beats, every winning track carries a story of real-life faith and perseverance. Listeners can enjoy each song knowing the artists poured their hearts into sharing God’s truth through music.

Church Friends, a sibling trio with their friend Kieana, claimed first place in Christian Country for their encouraging song “Walk On.” The band says the track was written to strengthen believers facing hard times, reminding them to keep saying, “Send me, Lord.”

“We wanted to embolden Christians to live out their faith in the lowest valleys and the darkest times,” they shared.

Michael Young earned second place in the same category with “Dig Down Deep,” a song about seeing others—and ourselves—the way God sees us. Young hopes his music reminds listeners they are valued and loved.

“It’s often the championing of those around me that can pull me out of my own way and give me the confidence to be the person I’m able to be,” he said.

Faith Child won first place in Christian Hip-Hop/Rap with the upbeat anthem “Holy Place.” The seasoned performer, who has sung in twenty-five countries, says the song celebrates life and points people toward God as their guide.

“We all need a higher power to lead and guide us, and being a Christian, my faith is my moral compass,” he explained.

Optikz placed second with “Love The Child In Me,” a moving track born from his own journey of healing and faith. Darren Piper, who performs as Optikz, hopes the song encourages listeners facing their own challenges.

“Rather than focusing on defeat, I wanted to write something that reflected perseverance, healing, and faith,” he said.

In the Christian Pop category, MATEO took first place with “St. Anthony,” a song inspired by a difficult season and the comfort he found in faith. Angela Morano earned second place with “Blessing In Disguise,” a tender reminder that someone is always watching over us.

“It’s comforting to know that you have someone on your side, on the other side,” Morano shared.

Christian Rock first-place winners PENNELL offered “Bones,” a song about holding on to faith when life feels uncertain. The husband-and-wife duo says the track reminds believers that God’s spirit is within them.

“The very breath of God is in our bones, we can’t separate ourselves from that,” they said.

Light the Way placed second with “Waterwalker,” inspired by Peter stepping out onto the water with Jesus. The band hopes the song encourages listeners to trust God fully.

“There is some imagery of baptism and regeneration as well, that Christ is there to pull us out of the water and we are made new when we come out of the water,” they explained.

Layla Capri won first place in CCM with “Your Story’s Not Over Yet,” written after losing her cousin to suicide. She wants the song to remind everyone that hope and help are always available.

“You are loved, you are never alone, and there is always hope,” she said.

Psalms of David placed second with “He Loves You,” a song meant to reach people who feel hopeless. Ethan Koch, who performs as Psalms of David, says the track shows that Jesus can heal anyone who trusts in Him.

Danny Alcorn claimed first place in Worship/Inspirational with “Victory,” his first worship song written after surrendering his life to Christ. Revive Worship placed second with “Lavish.”

In the Lyrics Only category, Krystal Adcock won with “Every Word I Say,” a prayer asking God to guide every conversation with grace. Shaylee Simeone placed second with “Pieces in Your Peace,” a gentle reminder that God allows us space to feel our emotions.

“Sometimes you just need to let them finish crying. Just to be there for them and to understand,” Simeone said.

These winning songs are already touching hearts and spreading messages of faith, hope, and love far beyond the contest stage. Fans can stream each track and celebrate the artists who turned their personal stories into music that glorifies God and encourages others.
