Quick Smiles:

  • Supporters from across the country ordered shop T-shirts to donate to residents in local group homes.
  • The Warwick police department designed a custom tip jar to help Michael feel more secure at the register.
  • The community response showed that the shop’s tagline, Brewed to Include, resonates widely.

Michael Coyne, the co-owner of Red White and Brew Coffeehouse in Rhode Island, was heartbroken when most of his day’s tips were stolen.

The 30-year-old entrepreneur, who has autism and ADHD, felt a deep sense of violation in the space he worked so hard to build.

After the local mayor and police chief shared his story, the community responded with an overwhelming wave of kindness and generosity.

Customers from all walks of life flooded the cafe to offer Michael encouragement and show their support.

The cafe’s tagline, “Brewed to Include,” reflects the spirit behind the outpouring of care.
