A playful Labrador couldn’t resist the allure of a waterslide after watching kids enjoy it for a while. This moment of canine joy has charmed the internet, gaining over 3 million views on TikTok.

Sarah Spikes, the dog’s owner, shared that the dog’s excitement took everyone by surprise since it was her first time on a waterslide.

“She sat and watched the kids go up and down for a little bit, until she got it figured out,” Spikes said via TikTok.
“And then took off running before we even knew what was going on.”

The video, posted on the account @sarahspikesrealtor, shows the dog confidently climbing the inflatable waterslide’s stairs. On her second or third run, she seemed like an old pro.

She hopped over the dividing wall, cut in front of a child, and raced to the top, as the caption humorously noted:

“Move over, me first.”

Fearlessly, the dog slid down head-first, her speed nearly flipping her over into the tiny pool at the bottom. Unfazed, she quickly got back on her paws, eager for another go.

“She would have stayed out there all day if we let her!” Spikes said.
“We had to rein her in so she didn’t get overheated or wear herself out.”

While it’s delightful to see pets having fun, it’s crucial to monitor their limits to prevent heat exhaustion, which can lead to severe conditions like heat stroke or cardiac arrest.
