Fed Up Doberman Demands Cat Evacuate His Bed, But The Cat Won’t Budge [Video]

  • A TikTok video with 23 million views shows a Doberman barking and trying to make a cat vacate a pet bed.
  • The pets’ owner, Amanda Hope said in the caption that the dog is already fed up with the cat but the cat is not scared of the big dog.
  • A follow-up video shows that the cat finally vacated the bed and the dog has also lost interest.

Much has been said about the love-hate relationship between cats and dogs.  Sometimes they do agree to be together in peace and sometimes, they just fight like there’s no chance of being friends.

@amandaplease606 SHE KNOWS THIS IS HER BED, NOT THE CATS 😅😂 She’s FED UP. For people who think sunny is being aggressive/needs to leave the cat alone- Kodak is a hood rat & he is not scared of any dog💀 #fyp #cat #doberman #pets #foryoupage ♬ original sound – Amanda Hope ✨

In a study published in the journal PLoF ONE involving 1,270 pet owners of at least a cat and a dog in Italy, they found out that 64 percent said their pets sometimes played together.  While 58 percent had two pets who slept next to each other.

What’s even more surprising is that 11% said their cats and dogs lay side-by-side every night.

But then again, a TikTok video of @amandaplease606 which has garnered 23 million views, has proven that fights still erupt between the two species.  And it’s keeping the viewers in stitches.

The video’s caption reads: “SHE KNOWS THIS IS HER BED, NOT THE CATS 😅😂 She’s FED UP. For people who think sunny is being aggressive/needs to leave the cat alone- Kodak is a hood rat & he is not scared of any dog💀”

Sunny, the dog, is not allowing Kodak the cat to get his way again to lay on her bed. But Kodak, being the cat that he is, may have read the squatter’s rights and refused to budge.  Owner Amanda Hope said that Sunny’s barks may be intimidating but Kodak “is not scared of any dog.”

The video has already been viewed over 25 million times as of writing and the majority have been siding with the cat.

JMurduca commented, “Only a cat would casually groom themselves while looking down the barrel of a Doberman,” and _ttasia_ admired how Kodak looked unfazed and was “riding that bed like a mechanical bull.” And TabTok added, “the way the cat kept stopping mid attack to clean themselves like they’re SO unbothered”. Marlene Dunki-Jacobs relates with the cat as she said Kodak “is the physical version of ‘make me.’”

However, a follow-up video posted by Hope showed that Kodak finally got out of the disputed bed.  Sunny’s lack of interest may have contributed to the evacuation or they both grew tired of fighting.

We sure hope there would be more days of peace instead of war between you, Sunny and Kodak!
