  • The dogs are now safe and receiving care near Nashville.
  • ARC helps transfer rescues to trusted adoption groups.

Fifty-one dogs have been given a new chance at life thanks to a sweeping rescue led by the Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) after an Arkansas shelter collapsed under challenging circumstances. The team acted following a court-ordered surrender, relocating the canine residents—many of whom had spent years waiting for adoption.

“Many of these dogs have lived here for years,” shared ARC Executive Director Tim Woodward. “Our focus now is giving them the space, care and stability they haven’t had.”

Upon arrival, ARC found the dogs in outdoor kennels with minimal comforts, but safely transferred every animal to their Rescue Center outside Nashville. There, the dogs will receive veterinary care and enrichment while plans are made for their long-term wellbeing.

ARC specializes in rescue and will coordinate with trusted adoption partners to help the dogs find forever homes. Those interested in adopting can contact ARC for more information about upcoming opportunities to provide a loving home.

When caring people come together, incredible transformations are possible for animals in need. Stay tuned and consider adopting to make a difference.
