A golden retriever puppy from Chicago has taken the internet by storm with his amusing antics. Captured on camera, Benson, the puppy, attempts to mimic a wild predator stalking its prey.

The viral TikTok video shared by @chicagosgoldenboy shows Benson stealthily approaching his owner before playfully pouncing on her with his fluffy paws.

“The most dangerous predator in town. Don’t let the fluff fool you, I bite like a shark!” reads the humorous caption accompanying the video.

While many dog owners view their furry companions as gentle beings, it’s fascinating to remember that all dogs are descendants of wild wolves. This lineage means they still harbor some of their ancestors’ hunting instincts.
