Grade 3 students’ acts of kindness create a ripple effect in Chilliwack

  • The project’s aim is to inspire a “wave of kindness” and has been successful in doing so, with strangers paying it forward and donating to the project.

A group of Grade 3 students at Watson Elementary School in British Columbia has been spreading kindness in their community for seven years through the Kindness Project.

The project involves raising funds by selling cupcakes and using the proceeds to give out flowers, chocolates, dog treats, coffee, and care packages to strangers in local parks. T

his year, five classes participated, making it the biggest project to date, and they raised $1,400.
