Husky Also Wanted A Bandage After Sister’s Paw Injury [Video]

  • A husky saw his sister getting bandaged so he wanted to be included.
  • His sister needed the bandage after she injured her paw while running outside.
  • The husky didn’t need a bandage, but he asked to get one with a pained look on his face.

We can all relate to wanting something simply because our sibling or friend has it, too — even when it’s something that they need and we don’t. Take for example a husky who asked for a bandage when his fur sister had to be given one after an injury.

His mom, Caitlin Zmudka, shared footage of him getting the bandage with a pained look on his face. The caption read, “Someone wanted to be included,” while the text overlay read, “He didn’t need the bandage, but he saw his sister get one and wanted one too.”

Caitlin explained in another video that the other dog needed a bandage after cutting her paw during a run outside. They had to keep the paw covered, which frustrates her.

The husky was so dramatic! He put on such a pitiful look like he was also in real pain from an injury!

Viewers found it hilarious, while some dog parents shared similar experiences.

One viewer said they had to pretend to give their husky an insulin shot because his sister did. Caitlin responded, “He waits to start eating to make sure he gets the exact same thing his sister does.”

Another husky parent said that their husky doesn’t need a sweater but wants one whenever her pointer sister puts on her sweater.

According to the American Kennel Club, Siberian Huskies are the 19th most popular dog breed in the country, and pet website WagWalking lists them at the top of most attention-seeking dog breeds.

Website myhappyhusky.com notes, “Huskies are notorious for craving the attention of their owner and anyone/anything else will be deemed as competition for that attention of yours.”

Other dog parents, however, said that they’ve had similar experiences even though their pups aren’t huskies.

One viewer shared, “One of our pups is afraid of thunder & wears a thundershirt. Her fur sister insists on wearing one too, even though she doesn’t need it.”

Another viewer observed, “Dogs are kids. Don’t love one more over the other. Funny how oddly human they are.”

Perhaps this is not a case of husky drama but more about sibling rivalry! Then again, it could be both.
