  • John Lithgow made a hilarious cameo reprising his iconic Footloose character to introduce the legendary duo
  • The wholesome reunion of ’80s cinema legends had viewers feeling nostalgic and overjoyed

In the 1980s, if you wanted your movie to have a killer soundtrack, Kenny Loggins was the man for the job. Kenny sang some of the biggest hits of the decade, like I’m Alright for the movie Caddyshack, Danger Zone for Top Gun, and Meet Me Halfway for Over the Top.

Of course, we can’t forget the Kevin Bacon classic movie, Footloose, which shares a Kenny Loggins track of the same name. Kenny made absolute bangers that still resonate with audiences four decades later.

He recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with a few friends to perform those hits.

Kevin Bacon Made a Surprise Appearance with Kenny Loggins

Kenny, Jimmy, and the Roots got out the classroom instruments to play a medley of Kenny’s biggest hits. First, they performed I’m Alright and Your Mama Don’t Dance before John Lithgow made a cameo as Reverend Shaw Moore to bust the party.

All of a sudden, Kevin jumps in to play Footloose. Kevin Bacon isn’t just an actor and dancer; he’s a musician like pal Kenny Loggins, too.

There was no doubt he’d make it to New York City for the performance. They ended with a sweet rendition of Celebrate Me Home.
