McDonald’s is bringing back its popular Monopoly game on October 6, 2026, making it easier than ever for guests to join the fun. The game will be available through the McDonald’s app, giving players the chance to win food, loyalty points, or even a $1 million prize.

Eligible food items for the 2026 game include Hash Browns, Egg McMuffin, Sausage McMuffin, Sausage McMuffin with Egg, Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit, Sausage Biscuit, Sausage Biscuit with Egg, Large soft drink, iced coffee, iced tea or specialty McCafé beverage, Large French fries, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Big Mac, and 4-piece McCrispy Strips.

“MONOPOLY at McDonald’s is more than just a game. It’s about childhood memories, family moments, and surprises that make our day,” Alyssa Buetikofer, Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer of McDonald’s USA, shared in a news release. “This year, we’re giving fans even more reasons to play with bigger prizes, more rewards, and a simpler digital game experience that includes the classic peel.”

In addition to food and points, guests can win cash prizes ranging from $10,000 all the way up to a cool $1 million playing Monopoly at McDonald’s. There is also a chance to win Carnival Cruise, Jeep, and Kennedy Center prizes. Monopoly fans are ready to play.

“Which also means I already know what October is about to look like: ‘WAIT. DON’T THROW THAT BAG AWAY YET,’” a person joked on Instagram.
