Netflix is updating its monthly subscription rates to keep delivering high-quality original entertainment for viewers worldwide. The changes are designed to support more stories and cinematic experiences subscribers enjoy.
The standard ad-supported plan is moving to $8.99 a month, while the ad-free standard option is now $19.99. The premium plan, which includes 4K Ultra HD and spatial audio, is priced at $26.99.
Subscribers can still add extra members to ad-free accounts for an additional fee. That option lets friends and family outside the primary household enjoy Netflix’s library of films and series.
The new rates will take effect during the next billing cycle. Netflix says the update will help maintain its position as a leader in home entertainment.
