The owner of a local pizza shop was closing up for the night when he noticed a woman searching through the trash outside. Instead of looking away, he stepped forward with a hot slice straight from the oven.
“I told her, ‘You don’t have to eat from the trash. If you’re hungry, come inside and I’ll feed you,'” the owner recalled.
