On August 14, 2026, the Royal Hashemite Court announced that Princess Iman and Jameel Thermiotis welcomed twin daughters. The news came as quite a surprise, as the family chose to keep the pregnancy private.

“The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II and Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis were blessed, on 14 August 2026, with twin baby girls,” a news release announced. “The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to Princess Iman and Mr. Jameel, as well as to Their Majesties King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this happy occasion.”

The Queen Shared Photos of The Twins

Though the pregnancy itself was not a secret, the fact that the mother was carrying twins certainly was. Queen Rania Al Abdullah shared her excitement in an Instagram post a few weeks back.

“The grandchildren club is growing, and we couldn’t be happier for Iman, Jameel, and soon-to-be big sister Amina,” she wrote.

On August 17, she posted photos holding the brand new baby girls.

“Healthy, happy, and finally here. We’ve been waiting so long to meet you, Talia and Rania. Congratulations Iman, Jameel, and sweet big sister Amina.”

Many shared well wishes with the royal family on the birth of their twins.
