Jabari Richardson, a college senior at Florida A&M University, was in the process of moving when he spotted a homeless man on the side of the road.

The man was holding a sign that read, “Anything helps,” and “God Bless.”

Jabari decided to pull over, open the trunk, and give out his stuff — shoes, clothing, and other items — to the homeless man.

Jabari, grateful for what he has, was simply passing it forward to someone in need. He had no idea that his selfless act was noticed by the driver of the car behind him.

His random act of kindness was caught on video and shared on TikTok.

“I don’t know this young man but he deserves to go viral,” the caption read.

The video has since earned more than 6 million views, garnering the attention of several media reporters.

Jabari’s actions even made it to the local evening news.

The young man told ABC affiliate WXTL-Tallahassee, “As I was growing up, my mom always taught me there’s a lot of people that are in need. Not everyone’s blessed as I am.”

He added that his mom made sure he “always had clothes and shoes on my back. I can’t definitely take that for granted. Anything can be gone in the blink of an eye.”

Jabari did a good thing from the bottom of his heart, and that kindness is its own reward.
