Living in Southport, UK, Zoe Murray, 30, frequently shares snippets of her two-year-old daughter Halle and their Weimaraner dog, Frank, on TikTok.

Murray describes their relationship as “everything we could have wished for.”

She adds:
“The two have just grown closer and closer as they’ve got older and now they’re the perfect duo. Halle always gives Frank a kiss before bed, and a stroke on the head every morning. Frank often sleeps outside her bedroom door when she goes to bed.”

Recently, a video of Halle pampering Frank has captured the hearts of social media users everywhere.

In the clip, Halle is seen brushing Frank’s ears, stroking him gently between the eyes, and combing his head, all while Frank looks blissfully relaxed with his eyes closed.

This adorable video, shared on September 1, has garnered over 780,000 likes and 5 million views.

Murray notes that these “spa day treatments” are a regular occurrence. Halle often includes Frank in her playtime activities, whether it’s a tea party, playing doctors, or applying pretend makeup.

“Most of the time he’s awake and patiently sits, soaking up the attention, by the end of it he’s usually asleep.”

TikTok users were enchanted by the video, with one commenter calling it “beautiful” and another exclaiming, “Dog spa and he is loving it.”

Murray admits she “can’t believe the response” to the video, explaining:
“I posted the TikTok just simply for fun, we went out for the day and when I checked my phone a couple hours later, it had escalated way more than I ever imagined.”

From the moment they knew they were expecting Halle, Zoe and her husband made efforts to ensure Frank felt included.

They introduced baby noises and scents early on and even gave Frank a teddy with the sound of Halle’s ultrasound heartbeat.

Their efforts paid off, as Frank dropped his ball at Halle’s feet the day she came home from the hospital, and their bond has only strengthened since.

Halle has also been taught to be gentle with Frank and to give him space while he’s sleeping.

Weimaraners like Frank aren’t among the most common breeds, ranking 48th in the American Kennel Club’s (AKC) most popular dog breeds of 2023.

Known as gentle giants, Weimaraners are affectionate towards family and excellent with children, according to the AKC.
