The University of Georgia’s Dance Dawgs spirit squad has an adorable annual tradition — dads get to cheer with their daughters in a special father-daughter cheerleading routine!

This January, the squad showcased their special dance routine during one of the school’s basketball games.

They started out slow. The dads danced and twirled with their daughters as Randy Newman’s “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” played in the background.

Everyone can see that the dads were surely game to perform with their daughters.

They then ramped up the pace to dance to upbeat hip-hop music!

The dads were amazing! They certainly proved that they got the moves to keep up with their daughters.

They also deserve applause for joining in on such a public performance and giving it their best, even if some of them may have felt a bit out of place at first.
