Soccer is huge in the United Kingdom, and a little boy named Isaac might be Liverpool Football Club’s biggest fan. He was born with the rare genetic disorder Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, which comes with challenges, but he goes to school and works hard every day.

When he was just 6 years old, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk walked into Isaac’s school with a huge surprise.

“I’m looking for someone who is a big, big Liverpool fan and he loves to play the guitar,” Virgil said. “I think his name is Isaac?”

Isaac raised his hand, and his eyes widened when he realized Virgil and Mo were there for him.

Seeing Isaac’s face light up brought others immense joy.

“Knowing all the players’ names without being told is extraordinary,” a fan wrote.

Isaac’s joy crossed team lines.

“As a United fan, I never thought I’d find myself on Liverpool’s page. But this is just beautiful, respect,” another person shared.

“Making Isaac happy made these pro footballers happier. Spreading happiness is the key to living a better life,” a Liverpool fan pointed out.

Not only did Isaac attend a Liverpool FC game, but he got to walk out on the field with Virgil, Mo, and the other members of the team. He served as an official mascot at the game against Manchester City at Anfield ahead of the United Nations’ International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Isaac brought Liverpool good luck. The team won 2-0.

It was a great day for Isaac and Liverpool, one that none of them will forget any time soon.
