  • Brooke Shields and daughter Rowan welcome the cutest white rescue puppy named Shippy into their family
  • The wholesome TikTok reveal shows pure joy as both shower their new furry friend with love
  • Shippy was adopted from Southampton Animal Shelter and already has the whole internet swooning

It’s a girl for Brooke Shields! Rowan Henchy, Brooke’s eldest daughter with husband Chris Henchy, teased the news about a new addition to the family in an August 3, 2026 TikTok.

Rowan looks at the camera and says with an impish grin, “There’s been a really large development in the Shields/Henchy household.” She then holds up the cutest white dog she introduces as “Shippy.”

“This is the newest puppy,” Rowan said. “Are you kidding me? Look at this face. And she has a big belly, and she just loves to be cradled like a baby.”

An off-camera voice calls the dog “perfect.” Brooke Shields enters the frame, showering the puppy with kisses in a moment of pure joy.

Fans immediately wanted to know more about Shippy and started asking questions, including what Chris Henchy thinks about the newest addition to the family. “He hasn’t spoken to us in three days,” Rowan joked in the comments.

Can you blame him? Maybe he was hoping for a male pup this go-around.

The girls already outnumber him with Brooke Shields and daughters Rowan and her sister, Grier. Of course, that could just be Rowan giving her dad some playful trouble.

Seeing Shippy reminded one fan about a meeting years ago at a tennis match. “Ask your mom about a small white dog she had many years ago named Donut. I was about 6-7 yrs old when I met her and played with Donut while she was watching her then boyfriend Andre Agassi play a match in ATL,” the fan wrote.

Fans fell in love with Shippy and her sweet face and immediately wanted to know more about her breed. Rowan commented that they aren’t 100% sure about her genetic makeup.

“I have no idea we definitely think terrier something we adopted her from @Southampton Animal Shelter,” the 23-year-old admitted.

No matter what breed Shippy is, she’s 100% cute, that’s for sure! This heartwarming adoption story is yet another reminder of the joy rescue animals bring to families.
