Percy lies in wait for his owner to come around the corner before swiping off his hat.
It turns out that it has become a game for the two, and Percy almost always ends up victorious.

Percy the cat is having the time of his life. Perched up high on his wall hammock, he has the perfect vantage point. He can easily see if his owner is rounding up the corner, and the height is perfect for swiping a hat!

In a video shared on TikTok on Feb. 25, we can see Percy perched on his favorite spot as his owner, Ben, walks around the corner.

In several clips, Percy can be seen swiping at Ben’s head, whether he has a hat on or not. On most occasions, Percy successfully steals Ben’s hat.

It turns out that the head swatting has become a game for the pair.

In a follow-up video, we learn that Percy is not some “evil cat” who keeps swatting at people’s heads for fun. Ben has actually been the instigator all along!

When viewers wondered how Percy could get up to his hammock, his owners shared a video showing how the agile cat could maneuver around the floating shelves to get where he wanted to.

The following video also showed how Percy gets to his spot when he sees Ben walking toward the corner.
