TODAY show anchor Craig Melvin is honoring his late brother’s legacy by launching a brand new navy polo and sock set. This initiative aims to spark vital conversations about health screenings and early detection within families across the country.

Colorectal cancer is remarkably treatable when caught early, boasting a 90% survival rate after five years. Melvin has made it his personal mission to serve on the Colorectal Cancer Alliance’s Board of Directors to save lives.

“It’s become my mission to raise awareness about young-onset colorectal cancer, not only in memory of my resilient brother, but also with the hope that in sparking conversation within families and the Black community, we’ll save lives.”

In honor of National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, NBCUniversal is making a donation to support the Alliance’s ongoing efforts. Fans can participate by wearing the sporty gear to help spread this lifesaving message of prevention.
