  • The Stauders experienced a dream Disney trip thanks to the kindness of people they’d never met.

During a magical Disney vacation, one family’s heart was touched when they read about baby Xaiden, who has a severe heart condition and only weeks to live.

Wanting to make joyful memories possible, they reached out to Xaiden’s parents, offering to share their trip.

Kelly Shotwell, a retired firefighter and paramedic, arranged everything from travel to tickets.

“I had a message on my Facebook and it just said, ‘Hey we’re down here at Disney. If I can get you down here would that be doable for you guys?’”

Alexis Stauder shared how surprised and grateful they were for the opportunity.

“It just worked out,” Kelly Shotwell explained. “We found flights, we found tickets, we already had the place, we got them a rental car.”
