Farmers Unite to Honor Friend’s Legacy

• 75 farmers gathered in Antler, North Dakota to finish Randy Fyllesvold’s harvest.

In a remarkable show of unity, neighbors from more than ten communities joined forces in rural North Dakota to complete a fallen friend’s final harvest. After Randy Fyllesvold’s unexpected passing, friends and volunteers rallied to gather his remaining crops with impressive teamwork.

Seventy-five people, equipped with 12 combines, organized a “divide and conquer” effort to carefully harvest soybeans, canola, and corn. Every step was coordinated to honor Randy’s memory and offer comfort to his loved ones.

Randy’s widow, Kharra Fyllesvold, was deeply touched and shared her gratitude for everyone involved.

“Thank you to each and every person that had a part of today. Special thanks to Andy Gates, Kevin Tyler, and Wyatt Thompson for organizing something I will never forget.”

She said on Facebook.

She described the harvest as “nothing short of breathtaking,” and spoke of the peace found in witnessing such support.

“I will always remember this and Randy would be so proud. God bless all of you and the boys and I love each and every one of you.”
