In a delightful twist of events, a mail-stealing canine named Hank has become the star of a viral TikTok video, thanks to some ingenious package delivery instructions left by his owner.

The delivery driver, known online as @firstclasswhiskers, often shares his encounters with pets along his route, but Hank’s antics were a first for him.

On October 4, he stumbled upon a package with a unique note attached, instructing him not to leave it where Hank could reach it.

Hank had apparently developed a knack for getting into packages, prompting his owner to take action. The note suggested placing the package on top of a blue car or trash can, a method that seemed to outsmart Hank’s usual tricks.

“I’m not sure how easy it is to tell in the video, but the people had the sender print that on a whole separate label, which I had never seen before,” the delivery driver shared.

As the driver approached the house, Hank greeted him with an innocent look, as if pretending he hadn’t been up to any mischief.

However, the driver followed the instructions and placed the package out of Hank’s reach, bringing an end to his package-stealing spree.

Despite his thwarted attempts, Hank’s day wasn’t entirely lost.

The delivery driver rewarded him with pets and not one but two treats, which Hank eagerly accepted.

“He was a good boy for sure,” the driver noted.
