Eight-year-old Aura V. from Maryland and her father Fyütch have made Grammy history with their album Harmony. Aura is now the youngest recipient of a Grammy, surpassing the previous record held by Blue Ivy.

“It is an honor to be here today,” Aura shared during her heartfelt acceptance speech. “I was not expecting us to go this far.”

Their creative journey spans multiple generations, with Aura’s great-grandfather and grandfather both talented musicians, and her grandfather even contributing saxophone to the album.

Fyütch, an arts teacher turned musician, began making educational songs for his students. “I didn’t realize there was such a need. Teachers were searching for content like that,” he explained.

After becoming a dad, Fyütch started performing with Aura, and their musical partnership flourished. Their debut collaboration happened when Aura was just four years old, and together, they created the Grammy-winning LP Harmony.

“When I held you in my arms, my firstborn, my whole world. I don’t care how old you get, you still daddy’s girl…” Fyütch raps on ‘My Daddy’.

The album features tracks that promote positive messages and teamwork. Fyütch sums up their mission: “Now more than ever, we need positive vibes in our music, in our culture, in our media. I see the purpose in it, and the beautiful part is that we get to do it together.”
