Mom tears up when she sees what her dog does when she leaves [Video]

• She found out that while Sundae would occasionally get her stuff, she would mostly stay by the door and wait for her!

Meet Sundae. She has a habit of bringing some of her mom’s things to her dog bed whenever her mom went outside.

Sundae’s mom shared, “When I’d leave her home, even if it was just for a little bit, I’d come back and she’d have my shoes, socks, basically any piece of clothing, and sometimes random things like ChapStick in her bed.”

She found it sweet and funny, so she wanted to see it first-hand. Since she hasn’t been able to catch her in the act, she decided to get a camera.

The time to test the camera came when she left for the store one day. When she got a notification that there was movement in the house, she started watching the live feed from her phone. But what she saw made her want to cry!

Sundae got up from her mom’s bed and positioned herself by the door to wait for her mom to come home.

Sundae’s mom shared, “Every time she repositioned by the door, I would get a notification. My heart literally broke; I was tearing up in the grocery store watching her wait for me.”

It turns out that Sundae would always do this whenever her mom goes outside.

Sundae would change her position once in a while, and occasionally get some of her mom’s stuff to put in her dog bed. But most of the time, she would stay by the door and wait.

Sundae’s mom shared, “Just the thought is too much for my heart to handle. I’ll be taking her with me from now on to the store.”

If it’s any consolation, Sundae is super excited when her mom returns, and her tail wagging shows it!
