“It’s really hard not knowing who your dad is,” Walters shared. “It’s like there’s a piece missing. It was amazing to hear his voice for the first time on the phone.”

Three years later, a half-sister named Marie-Ann answered the ad, and soon after, Louise learned her father was Graham Peveller, who had also been searching for her. “I felt complete,” Louise recalled. “We just hit it off straight away. I feel like I’ve known him forever.”

Louise now enjoys close relationships with several siblings, including Marie-Ann, Zoe, and Leslie, and speaks to them regularly. Her father, Mr. Peveller, expressed his love for all his children and joy at being reunited after so many years apart.

“I have a lot of children and I love them all,” Mr. Peveller said. “No matter how long it is that we’re apart my feelings don’t change, I always think of them.”
