Amanda Warsavsky and her husband always pictured their family with three children. Following more than ten pregnancy losses and facing ongoing challenges, they decided to pursue surrogacy to welcome their third child.

Warsavsky and her husband kept the surrogacy journey private, telling no one—not even their parents or daughters—until baby Olive safely arrived.

“We decided not to tell anyone until we knew we had a safe baby in our arms,” she shared.

When Olive came home to New York from Syracuse, Amanda surprised her daughters and her mother, Nanci, revealing the new baby in a moment caught on camera. The video quickly went viral, spreading smiles as her daughters shouted with excitement, “It’s a baby!”

Nanci was initially shocked, then moved to tears as she processed the amazing news. Amanda’s older daughter explained, “She was in someone else’s belly to keep her safe!”

Amanda introduced the idea of surrogacy to her girls as “another mommy offered to keep our baby safe in her belly, because mommy’s belly couldn’t be a safe place for a baby anymore.” She added that her oldest understood, having witnessed earlier challenges.

Throughout the journey, Amanda and her husband leaned on each other for support. “My husband and I have a really strong marriage and an even stronger friendship,” Amanda said.

“Surrogacy teaches you to let go… You have to learn to just trust the process and trust someone who’s living five hours away from you,” Amanda reflected. “The year was spent practicing letting go and manifesting what is meant to be.”

Keeping the news a secret was hard, especially with family traditions and ongoing updates from the surrogate, but the big reveal made it all worth it.

Now, Amanda’s three daughters have formed a special bond, and the family feels whole after a remarkable four-year journey.
