When Birdcall opened its first location in Denver back in 2017, nobody could have predicted the heartwarming response that would follow. Customers immediately fell in love with the fast-casual restaurant’s commitment to serving all-natural chicken, delivering top-notch customer service, and genuinely giving back to the community.

The restaurant’s feel-good mission quickly spread to Arizona and Texas, and now the brand has even bigger plans to bring smiles to tables across America over the next five years.

“The Midwest represents a tremendous opportunity for Birdcall,” Mark Lohmann, CEO of Birdcall, shared in a news release.

“From our award-winning chicken sandwiches and other handcrafted menu offerings to our commitment to innovation and community, we believe Birdcall offers an experience that resonates with today’s guests and is a natural fit for the region.”

Birdcall Plans to Open Nearly 100 Locations

Birdcall sees significant potential in the Midwest and plans to open 85 new locations over the next five years, bringing their uplifting dining experience to communities across six states.

Indiana — 10 to 15 restaurants across Indianapolis, Bloomington, Evansville, and Fort Wayne

Nebraska — 7 to 10 restaurants across Omaha and Lincoln

Ohio — Up to 30 restaurants across Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Toledo

Wisconsin — 10 to 14 restaurants across Milwaukee, Madison, and Appleton

“We’ve seen tremendous interest in Birdcall from prospective franchisees who are looking for a differentiated concept with strong unit economics, broad consumer appeal, and significant room for growth,” Justin Livingston, Vice President of Franchise Development for Birdcall, explained.

“The Midwest presents an exceptional opportunity because many of these markets remain untapped for our brand. We’re looking forward to partnering with experienced operators who share our vision and are excited to help introduce Birdcall to new communities across the region.”
