Earlier this week, a white police deputy from Tennessee was amazed at the kindness that two anonymous black women did to him.
Sumner County Sheriff’s Department’s Deputy Jody McDowell stopped by at a Cracker Barrel store to grab some breakfast when the good deed had taken place.

He was about to pay for his meal when he learned that it was already paid by somebody else who refused to be named. They even left a message for him that said: “BLM [Black Lives Matter], but so does yours! Thank you for your service. Breakfast paid.”
Later that day, McDowell took a picture of the note and posted it on Facebook in the hopes that it would reach the good samaritans and know how grateful he is: “I want to thank the two sweet black ladies who paid for my breakfast this morning,” he said in the post.
Although no one was able to get their names, the women were said to have been waiting for their flight from a nearby airport going home to Baltimore, Maryland.
After McDowell shared the photo online, thousands of people expressed their admiration for the sweet message.
One of the comments said: “This post made me feel that there is hope for our country after all.”
We couldn’t agree more! Black lives matter, and so do the lives of the rest, especially our frontliners who sacrifice theirs in this difficult time of pandemic.

You had to go and reck a good deed by saying they were black women . Why couldn’t just say they were good women that pay for cops dinner and told them they mattered to . That’s the real story . But you had to turn it into a political statement . Stop that … you killed these good ladys deed . They just wanted to show they cared and did a good deed . Let it at that .
