Quick Smiles:

  • Britain’s youngest Elvis impersonator, Cooper Worthington, is set to perform at Graceland on the anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death.
  • Cooper’s passion for impersonating Elvis began after watching Freddie Mercury’s admiration for the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
  • Despite some criticism, Cooper’s family supports his dream, which includes performing in Las Vegas one day.

In a delightful twist of fate, young Cooper Worthington, the UK’s youngest Elvis impersonator, has been invited to perform at none other than Graceland, the legendary home of Elvis Presley. This opportunity aligns with the 48th anniversary of the King’s passing, making it an even more special occasion for the 12-year-old fan.

Cooper’s fascination with Elvis ignited after he learned about Freddie Mercury’s affection for the rock ‘n’ roll icon. His mother, Kelly Worthington, describes him as a “typical pre-teen” who simply loves to perform.

“We thought we would reach out to America because Cooper is the UK’s youngest working performing Elvis tribute at the moment,” shared Kelly Worthington.

The family sent videos and social media content to Elvis Presley Enterprises, which resulted in an exciting contract offer for Cooper to perform at Graceland.

“We are both so excited,” Kelly exclaimed. “Cooper wanted to go to Memphis for years and I have been saving up and working as hard as I can to take us both there. It is going to be a once in a lifetime experience.”

The plan is for Cooper to channel young 1950s Elvis, with outfits like the Pink Cadillac ensemble and the Jailhouse Rock attire ready for him to choose from.

Despite some criticism about his young age, Cooper’s family is fully supportive. Kelly recalls, “He entered a school talent competition and won the whole show.”

Cooper’s passion is undeniable. “He knows all of Elvis’ songs now and has perfected the dance moves,” Kelly said. “He has even found an old American hair gel that Elvis used to use.”

Cooper himself shared his enthusiasm, saying, “I love Elvis’ singing the best. My favorite song is Jailhouse Rock and my dream is to perform in Las Vegas and have my own show.”

With his eyes set on the stage, Cooper’s journey is just beginning, and his performance at Graceland is sure to be a memorable milestone.
