Adorable Cat Takes Favorite Stuffed Pig Everywhere

• Diego the cat has been carrying his favorite stuffed pig with him everywhere he goes.
• Since receiving the stuffed pig as a gift a few years ago, he has refused to let it out of his sight.
• Diego spends all his time with his stuffed pig — he even likes grooming it as if it were his very own kitten!

Diego the cat has been a quirky one ever since he was a kitten.

He also appears smaller than most cats his age due to some health issues when he was younger. This is why he can’t always play the same way they can.

So he decided to just carry his toys around with him. And his favorite? His pink stuffed pig:

Diego received the stuffed pig as a gift from a family member a few years ago. He has become absolutely obsessed with it since then and has refused to let it out of his sight. 

Diego’s mom, Crystal Cook, told The Dodo, “He keeps it nearby all the time. He takes it wherever he goes. He loves his little piggy.” 

Diego spends all his time with his stuffed pig. They play together, eat together, and nap together.

Diego even likes grooming his pig — as if it were his very own kitten! The pair are always together — even when Diego goes to the vet.

“If he can’t find it he walks around meowing. Sometimes when the door is cracked he gets locked in a room trying to go through due to the size of the stuffed pig.” Crystal shared.

And when Diego misplaces his stuffed pig, he quickly gets upset. One time, when they couldn’t find it anywhere, Crystal had to give him a pink pillow to try and calm him until his pig was found. He used the pillow constantly as his napping place until his lost piggy was finally found.

“After that, he didn’t care about the pillow,” Crystal shared.

Diego’s family has completely accepted the fact that he and his stuffed pig come as a pair. If Diego is nearby…

…they’re sure he has his beloved stuffed pig with him. 

They have no idea why Diego loves his pig so much. But who are we to judge or stand in the way? And besides, it’s simply too adorable!
