Egypt’s Desert Renewable Project Brings Clean Power and Grid Stability

The Land of the Nile is transforming its vast desert landscape into a powerhouse of renewable energy. A new partnership will develop nearly six gigawatts of solar, wind, and battery storage facilities along the scenic Red Sea coastline.

Minister Mahmoud Essmat emphasized that these advancements will stabilize the national grid while protecting the environment.
