Video: Father Comforts The Traumatized Driver Who Hit His Daughter

This is what happened in Brazil about two weeks ago.
A video shared by Goodnews Movement on Instagram shows a father hugging the driver who hit his daughter.
According to reports, the driver had hit the girl identified only as Haghatta. The 10-year-old girl allegedly ran towards the road carelessly. The driver slammed on the brakes but couldn’t avoid an impact as Hagatta dashed in front of his car while chasing a ball.
Fortunately, the girl was not seriously injured. She was immediately rushed to a hospital to treat her injuries.
The driver broke down in tears as he watched helplessly as the injured Haghatta was being carried into the ambulance, He was obviously upset and concerned. Then suddenly, a man approached him to console him.
It was Haghatta’s father.
The dad was obviously very concerned for his daughter, but he put his worries aside to comfort the driver before rushing to the girl’s side.
The Instagram video shows the dad taking the distraught driver into his arms and holding his face. He gave comfort by telling him that everything will be all right. The father’s compassion and forgiveness absolutely touch hearts.
Haghatta has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering from her injuries. She’s expected to make a full recovery.
Reports say the father even invited the driver to their home for a visit to show there are no hard feelings between them.
