  • Rosa, a cleaner for 20 years in a residence building in New York City, lost her job due to COVID-19.
  • Nevertheless, with a servant’s heart, she still came to work every day.
  • The building residents, all loving her, decided to help her cope with the pandemic and gifted her with a massive apartment!

If there’s a beautiful thing about this pandemic, it’s the sense of humanity — people helping out people to get through this trying time.

More fortunate people assist the less fortunate ones in the forms of meals, cash, groceries, and other ways to bless a heart.

Like other Good Samaritans, this group of New York City residents were moved to help out their long-time building cleaner.

Rosa, who has cleaned the residence building for 20 years, was laid off due to COVID-19, bringing the lowest unemployment rate of 14.8 percent in April 2020. Nonetheless, she still came to work every single day, with a bright smile on her face like everything was okay.

Thinking that it was time for them to repay her service, the building residents gave her a generous gift no one could have had expected!

“The people that live here have been telling me a lot about your contributions to this building and a lot of people here in this building are a big fan of yours,” a real estate agent says in the video.

“You’re kind of a celebrity here, you’re very well-loved, and I know it’s been a tough year for you and your family and there’s been a lot of financial hardships,” the agent continued. “I have a contract here for a two-year lease on this unit that some of your fans knocked together. They’re taking care of it, all you have to do is sign and take the keys.”

She first thought that she would only clean the penthouse — 2,500 square feet in size with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, only to learn later on that it was her house tour and she was actually getting the keys.

Gasping in disbelief, Rosa burst into tears and said, “This isn’t real.”

But it is! And we think she deserves it.
