New Home’s Playground Becomes Dogs’ Favorite Spot [Video]

• When Kayla Lee and her husband moved into their new home, they found a swing set in their backyard.
• They planned it to be a playground for their future kids and neighbors.
• But their dogs discovered how to climb up into it — and it turned into their doggy playground!

Kayla Lee and her husband were pleasantly surprised that there was a swing set in the backyard of their newly purchased home. Thinking of their future kids, they decided to keep it and spruce it up. The playground ended up becoming their dogs’ favorite spot!

Huskies Atom and Ryker are always full of energy and looking for their next adventure, and their Shiba Inu brother Atreus is ready to follow them everywhere.

The siblings curiously checked out the swing set. They cautiously looked around, sniffing and marking their territory.

One day, a dad and a bunch of kids came over and introduced themselves to the new neighbors. They also came to see the adorable dogs. When the kids played on the swing set, the dogs seemed to get the idea of what to do. They gained even more information when they watched their mom climb up into it and clean it.

They started trying to climb into it for days, until they finally succeeded!

Atreus was still too small to make the jump, but Atom and Ryker managed to climb successfully.

Now that they learned how to get up there, it’s their favorite thing to do!

“They act very dramatic when I tell them they need to get off of it to go inside,” Kayla shared.

“We plan to keep it and modify it so Atreus … can also climb into it (he was very jealous when the other dogs were up there). We also plan to make it safer for the dogs to climb down from as well,” she added.

The playground was meant to be a place for their future kids and their neighbors’ kids to hang out and play with each other. But it has turned into a doggy playground for the time being. Perhaps Atom, Ryker, and Atreus will be happy to share with their future human siblings and they can all play happily with their neighbors.
