Quick Smiles:

  • Aiden Wilkins, age 9, is studying neuroscience at Ursinus College.
  • He aspires to become a pediatric neurosurgeon to help children.
  • Aiden balances high-level academics with childhood fun.

Aiden Wilkins from Collegeville, Pennsylvania, isn’t your average nine-year-old—he splits his week between high school studies and college-level neuroscience classes.

His journey began early, showing a love for reading and learning at just two and a passion for anatomy videos by age three.

“I could just read [signs] when most kids at my age, at like two, could barely even speak,” Aiden recalled.

Testing confirmed his extraordinary abilities, and now he attends both Reach Cyber Charter School and neuroscience courses at Ursinus College, where he has made history as the youngest student ever.

When not immersed in his studies, Aiden enjoys soccer and video games just like his peers.

His mother Veronica expressed her gratitude, saying, “It’s all about him and his journey and me just supporting his journey.”

Veronica beamed, “It’s exciting because he’s making history and you know he feels great. I think it’s so important to be seen and heard.”
