Kim Reynolds noticed her Doberman, Saraya, acting unusually protective around six-month-old Alexander. The dog refused to leave the infant’s side and whimpered whenever he was taken away.

When Alexander suddenly became fussy and difficult to console, Kim decided to follow the dog’s cue and rushed him to the pediatrician.

Doctors discovered the baby’s heartbeat was racing at a dangerous 300 beats per minute and immediately admitted him for treatment.

“We believe Saraya detected the rapid heartbeat through her heightened senses,” Kim shared.
