Katalina Daley’s Instagram bio reads, “Pretty girls care about wildlife.” It perfectly sums up the recent college graduate who’s capturing hearts across the internet. She loves wildlife and has a particular affinity for gators.
She’s worked at Gator Country Adventure Park & Sanctuary in Beaumont, Texas, for the past year, and wanted to involve wild animals in her graduation photos in the most wholesome way possible.
“My boss, Shannon Saurage, actually came up with the idea to put Big Al and Tex in my graduation photos, and I loved it,” she told People.
The photos show Kat in her cap and gown, confidently posing alongside massive alligators—a sight that left viewers absolutely stunned. Her warmth and respect for these often-feared creatures shine through every image.
She explained that working with gators feels so natural to her, but she does her best to stay safe. “I always keep in mind that these are still wild animals at the end of the day, and keep a certain sense of weariness when working hands-on with them. I think it is always important to remember what they can do,” Kat added.
In one of her photos, Kat Daley actually kissed a gator right on the snout. It’s a shot many wouldn’t be brave enough to try, and it’s melting hearts everywhere.
The response online has been overwhelmingly positive, with people praising her courage and passion for wildlife conservation.
“This is my first impression of you, & I’m here for it. I doubt you’ll ever see my original comment on the Gator Country post, but with arms like yours, I wouldn’t be afraid to wrestle a gator either,” someone shared on Instagram.
Many agreed that Kat Daley’s gator photos are an inspiration.
“Had to come to your page and just say your so cool and beautiful girl!! wishes you the best of luck and so many adventures!” A comment reads.
“I absolutely loved your graduation photo! Good luck on all your future endeavors! We live in Liberty and Gator Country has been out here quite a few times, both for rescue and educational purposes. We are a big critter family, too! Girls are just raised different here in Texas ;)” Another person agreed.
Kat’s beautiful photos remind us that even the most misunderstood creatures deserve our respect and care. Her dedication to wildlife education is bringing joy and awareness to thousands, one stunning photo at a time.
