Could Nelly be exhibiting a spoiled dog’s behavior?  According to Hill’s Pets, spoiling them with food can affect their health and can lead to obesity.

“Treats should only account for 10 percent of your dog’s total daily caloric intake,” Hill’s Pets advised. “You should also avoid feeding them any human food without your veterinarian’s recommendation.”

Try different ways of giving them treats like as a reward after a long walk or for good behavior.

Better learn to ask nicely, Nelly.  But thanks for the laughs.
