Charles Nassau has always had a love for motorcycle riding — and nothing, not even a disability, can get him to give it up.

The 87-year-old Korean War veteran passed his passion down to his son, Charlie, who loves riding with him.

Sadly, he was left paralyzed after a hit-and-run in 2016.

Still, after riding motorcycles all his life, he was not about to quit.

He said, “As soon as I got out of the hospital… I started looking online to find something I could ride.”

His son, Charlie, also did a lot of research to help him continue his passion. After a lot of time and hard work, Charlie found a brilliant way to get his father back on the road.

Once Charlie helped his dad, he was inspired to help others with a similar struggle.

He launched his own business, Chariot Mototrikes, to provide solutions to “amputee and paraplegic riders.”

He said, “I sell adaptive riding equipment, electric shifters, hand controls, and things like that.”

Charles was soon faced with another hurdle: the dreaded big C. But he decided to focus on the good and so did his loved ones.

Before he started his cancer treatments, he was accompanied by friends and family on a hundred-mile ride through the Green Mountains in Vermont.

Charlie said, “We don’t know what his future holds. But we’re going to enjoy today and we’re going to get a good ride in.”

Charles has inspired everyone to “never give up,” said Charlie. “Look at him,” he added. “87 years old and still riding. You can’t beat that.”
