British wildlife rehabilitator Robert E. Fuller had created homes in his North Yorkshire garden for several animals, including owls, kestrels, stoats, badgers, and weasels.

He then captures their everyday lives with hidden wildlife cameras and shares them with the world.

Bomber and Luna are just a few of the wildlife he keeps tabs on. He saw how Luna’s eggs failed to hatch last year, as well as this year.

So when Fuller received a call from a local farm saying they had found two 2-week-old orphaned owlets, his thoughts turned to Luna.

He had past experience of placing orphaned or lost owlets into the nests of tawny owls, who accept the rescued chicks as their own.

So, he decided to introduce the babies to Luna to help fulfill her maternal instincts.

When Luna returned to their nest and spotted the babies, she was overjoyed.

She immediately took them under her wings!

Fuller shared, “After a long wait, Luna the tawny owl is finally a mum.”

Fuller shared in a recent update that the chicks have been “thriving” under Luna’s care after nearly a week together.

Thanks to Fuller, Luna finally became a mom, and the two owlets now have a family. Bomber was also excited when he met the little ones!

You can watch over Luna and her fellow owls on a live stream on YouTube.
