He celebrates every start of the weekend by stopping by for a picture with every cute dog he encounters along his route on Friday.

His infectious smile has brightened the days of more than 83,000 people who follow his Instagram account.

He has since started the hashtag #PupsOfJay to collate the pictures.

Jason also makes sure to tag the adorable pups’ owners!

While it may be tempting to take photos with every single dog for every day of his work, he decided to “discipline” himself into only taking photos on Friday nights.

Jason shares other beautiful photos on his Instagram account, but the heartwarming pup photos are the most beloved!

Jason’s Instagram account found renewed popularity when a local author, Jami Attenberg, shared the #PupsofJay hashtag on a Twitter post that quickly went viral.

She had tweeted, “I have extremely important news and it is this: my sweet UPS guy has a hashtag of all the dogs in the neighborhood.”

Everyone loved it, and soon, Jason’s Instagram account was followed by thousands more fans.

Attenberg was “genuinely delighted” to have “introduced so many people to something that made them so happy,” she told Today.
