A missing toddler’s safe recovery brought relief to Dorchester, New Hampshire, as a major community search led by volunteers and local authorities came together.

Jeremy Corson and his loyal dog Freya from New England K-9 Search and Rescue were the team who located the little girl in the woods.

“It was a very sweet moment,” Corson said.

The pair scooped up the child, who told Jeremy, “I’m cold, I think I’m ready for a bath.”

Officials confirmed the girl was unhurt and delighted to see Freya when she was found.

Conservation officer Chris McKee expressed his gratitude for the incredible response from everyone involved.
